About BenefitsClaim UK

We exist to close the £24.1 billion benefits gap — one claim at a time.

Our Mission

Every year, an estimated £24.1 billion in benefits and social tariffs goes unclaimed in the UK. The primary reason is not ineligibility — it is that the benefits system is deliberately complex, the forms are intimidating, and most people simply do not know what they are entitled to or how to articulate their needs in the language the DWP requires.

BenefitsClaim UK was founded to change that. We believe that access to expert welfare rights advocacy should not depend on whether you can afford a solicitor, whether you live near a well-funded Citizens Advice bureau, or whether you happen to know someone who understands the system. It should be available to everyone, at any time, at a price that is genuinely accessible.

Fully Independent

We receive no government funding and have no connection to the DWP. Our only obligation is to you. We can say things that government-funded charities cannot.

Expert Knowledge

Our content is grounded in DWP regulations, Upper Tribunal caselaw, and decades of welfare rights practice. We update our guides whenever the law changes.

Ethically Priced

We know our users are often on low incomes. Our Premium plan costs less than 50p per week — a fraction of what a single hour of professional advice would cost.

Legal Disclaimer

BenefitsClaim UK provides advocacy information and template letters for guidance purposes only. The information on this website does not constitute legal advice and should not be relied upon as such.

Welfare benefits advice is not regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA). We are not solicitors and do not provide legal representation. The letters and templates generated by our platform are starting points — you should review them carefully and adapt them to your specific circumstances before sending.

We make every effort to ensure our content is accurate and up to date, but benefits legislation changes frequently. Always verify critical information with official DWP guidance at GOV.UK or with a qualified welfare rights adviser.

We never guarantee the outcome of any claim or appeal. The success of your application depends on your individual circumstances, the evidence you provide, and the decisions of the DWP or tribunal.

Data Protection

We take the privacy and security of your data extremely seriously. All personal and medical information you provide is encrypted in transit and at rest. We never share your data with the DWP, other government bodies, or third-party advertisers. You have the right to access, correct, or delete your data at any time.
